Marjorie Woodbury

Marjorie is a soulful being who collects and absorbs positive energy wherever she travels. By transforming it into clarity, she naturally lights the way for herself and all those around her. After practicing yoga for more than 10 years, her path led straight to BHNY in DC. Feeling compelled to go deeper and share what she’s learned, she took the plunge into the BHNY Yoga Teacher Training program. Her teachers have encouraged her to connect with her true self and follow her intuition. She does this with daily practices of yoga, creativity, and spending time with the ones she loves. Marjorie can usually be found sinking into a yin pose and/or into her next needle-crafts project.

The Owl and the Pussy-cat went to sea

In a beautiful pea-green boat

They took some honey, and plenty of money,

Wrapped up in a five-pound note

They dined on mince, and slices of quince,

Which they ate with a runcible spoon;

And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,

They danced by the light of the moon,

The moon,

The moon,

They danced by the light of the moon

Fun Facts about Marjorie

Her day job is as a landscape architect. She enjoys knitting and crochet, sailing the bay and strawberry with mint chip ice cream (sounds weird, but actually amazing!)
