Julia has always been a teacher at heart. She is passionate about sharing the things she cares about most with others, building relationships and strengthening community along the way. After her first few years as an elementary classroom teacher, Julia began practicing yoga as a means for self-care. She quickly recognized its power to bring greater strength and flexibility to both body and mind, and to connect her more deeply to herSelf, improving her quality of life and how she showed up in the world. Julia completed her 200-hour training with Breathe for Change, an organization empowering educators and community leaders to be Wellness Champions. She believes that taking care of ourselves and each other is the most powerful force we each have to create positive social change. You can expect to leave her classes feeling present, peaceful, and empowered.
