30 Hour Restorative Teacher Training
Relax and Restore
Restorative yoga consists of soft, fully supported stretches that repair muscle tissue and allow the body to completely relax. Restorative poses can be taken at the end of a vigorous practice to invite ease and calm the body and mind. The poses can make up a practice of their own, focused on relaxation and rehabilitation. Restorative yoga is an invaluable part of teacher’s or student’s practice.
Over the course of the weekend we’ll study a core set of poses, learning their basic structure and variations. We’ll connect to the current scientific thought on the benefits of relaxation as well as learning the ancient energetic and philosophical underpinnings of the practice. And, of course, we’ll relax and restore. You’ll leave knowing first-hand the wonders of restorative yoga and with the ability to share them with the world.
