Erin’s greatest joy in teaching is to work one-on-one to help students reach their goals.
New to yoga or returning after a long pause, and don’t know where to begin? Stuck at a plateau and want to get to the next level? Interested in starting a personal meditation practice? Private lessons are great for tailoring the practice to suit your needs. You will get focused personal attention, an opportunity to ask all of your burning questions, techniques to refine your physical alignment, and the skills needed to take your practice to the next level.
Erin designs each session with your goals in mind, and helps you connect to your breath, quiet your mind, and develop an intimate connection to your own unique and powerful body. Using an alignment-based approach, we will focus on doing the postures correctly, not quickly.
In addition to the physical practice of yoga (“asana”), Erin can help you begin or refine your personal meditation practice. She can also provide guidance on yogic philosophy and the spiritual texts that influence the practice.
